SECRET PANEL

At the turnstiles
The skies are colorized,
But I think I'm going through . . .

This time the wounds are sweet;
A tactical retreat-
But I've never come this far . . .

A lot of folks I know
Have given up the show
But I don't think I'm going to . . .

I think I've found a secret panel.

At the turnstiles-
We pause to pay our fee -
After waiting a long time in line.

Just when you've had enough
That's when the show gets rough
But you won't be leaving early.

I would not make a pass
But maybe it would last
I meet everyone in cue . . .

I think I've found a secret panel.

I can't believe my eyes!
I've tried so many different angles
So impossible to predict; it's just a tangle -

I think the corridor has been rigged
For us to find our way out
Before the riots

I just can't help but search
Every inch of this Earth
For another way . . . to a better day

And I know I'll find a secret panel.
